Television of the 1960s

     The television in 1960s Britain changed very much, because during this decade the television was revolutionised in many ways. There was the invention of investigative journalism and situation comedies. Before, the television had been very strait-laced, reserved, respectful and patriotic, but today it's not like 51 years ago.

      The importants series of the television in 1960s were: Happy, Saturday morning cartoon, Batman, Black and White Minstel Show, The invisible man, The Addams family, The Flintstones, etc. The majority of the television´s series were chidren´s shows. The Flintstones was a children´ show. It was very popular and it is an episode of the Flintstones: 
       The Addams family also was very popular and its characters include Gomez, Morticia, Uncle Fester, Lurch, Grandmama, Wednesday and Pugsley.
